I’m really excited to share more about who I am and how this all started. I’m a self‑taught hairstylist who specializes in natural hairstyles and locs, but my love for hair goes way back. I started doing hair when I was just 6 years old. I was that kid who always had a comb in my hand, practicing on dolls, my grandma. Honestly, anyone who would let me experiment. What started as something fun slowly grew into a real passion, and over the years I found myself falling deeper in love with the art of natural hair care.

As I got older, I realized that doing hair wasn’t just a hobby for me. It’s something that helps me connect with my community while fulfilling my creative “itch”. I spent years teaching myself new techniques, learning how to care for different textures, and perfecting the details that make a style last and look good. Hairstyling has always held a special place in my heart because it’s more than just braiding hair. It’s a way for me to give back to my community. Helping someone embrace their natural beauty and walk away feeling confident and cared for is truly the best part of what I do. Moments like that remind me why I fell in love with this craft in the first place.

I’m grateful to be in a place where I can offer my services professionally and share my passion with others. Welcome to Nisandra Stylez, a brand that represents not just my work, but my growth, my creativity, and the story behind who I am as a stylist.

For years, I worked under names like NiaStyleddYou and StyleddbyNia, and while those names served me well in the beginning, they became too common and generic. I was getting confused with other pages and it became clear that my brand needed something more distinctive. Something that truly belonged to me.

That’s where Niasandra comes from. It’s a name created from my own: a blend of my first name, Shania, and my middle name, Cassandra. It’s unique, personal, and completely original—a name no other business has. Choosing it felt like claiming my identity both as an artist and as a business owner.

While the name may be new, my passion, dedication, and love for what I do remain exactly the same. And don’t worry — if you’re looking for me, typing “Nia” will still lead you straight here!
